Donald Trump’s Dirty Politics!!
The world of big people exists where the little people may never know what is happening behind the walls of dirty politics! Just after the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, made headlines for discontinuing the 500 and 1000 Rupee, the President of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte, called on his country’s police and citizens to kill drug users and dealers, which has resulted in thousands of killings.
India has been hit hard by its prime minister’s shocking decision and the news that many industries have been halted because of money issues. Even Bollywood, the Indian film industry, has been affected. Many ventures have been stopped due to lack of cash flow – black and white cash. Money has probably been abandoned for the first time in history!
Following the devastation of this country’s leader’s decision, an even harsher one was revealed by the Philippine President to “kill” anyone who deals with drugs. The citizens of this country are reeling with fear. There are dead people everywhere. Raffy Lerma, a photo-journalist from The Philippine Inquirer who is documenting the killings and is the unofficial ‘death counter’, says, “Sometimes, it’s just a dead body for me. Sometimes, I get affected, especially if there is a family.” 5800 people have been killed in the rampant violence since July 1, 2016, according to Philippine National Police (PNP); source Abcnews.go.com
So, politics is at its most serious and scariest state in these above situations, but then it also has a dirty side. The name Donald Trump was first heard on the nation’s sexiest show ever, Sex and the City, during the pilot episode. “He is the next Donald Trump. Except he is much younger and much better looking,” Samantha Jones told Carrie Bradshaw when they saw Big for the first time. Now America’s next president will be this same Donald Trump. How could the country that picks its top model or chef or performers by watching and voting on shows like America’s Next Top Model, Top Chef, and even American Idol, fail so miserably when choosing America’s next top PRESIDENT?! Or maybe it is the biggest conspiracy of this social media age empowered by sites like Twitter and Facebook.
The whole world predicted Donald Trump would loose, yet he won! Trump himself tweets, but he tweets like a crow no one wants to hear. It is a slap across this modern world of digital gadgets that no one has the power to block Mr. Trump’s Twitter account, not even Twitter itself! The President-elect has been extremely open about his desire to cut ties with China and Mexico, even tweeting about it. Trump has also chosen controversial people to join his administration, including ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson, who for a long time was the director of an American-Russian oil firm located in the tax haven of the Bahamas and is very close to the Russian government, as his Secretary of State. Russia has been on the global radar with many personal and international issues including their support of the Syrian government in the Syrian Civil War and connected war with Turkey as well as being accused for hacking the US elections in order to help Trump win. Meanwhile, Americans have been hit with another drug war, this time with carfentanil. The drug has attacked the country like a deadly disease already killing many! The effect is so dire that a national warning has been issued.
What is really happening, though? Is the nation being blinded by the conspiracy that is taking place at a higher level? How does this drug get smuggled into the country when Mr. Trump promises to make America great again? This deadly drug that doesn’t have a race, color or nationality. If someone were to count the tweets or Facebook posts before the election, where America voted from the heart, Trump would surely have lost. Did Russia get paid by Donald Trump to hack the whole election? Perhaps Russia’s need for money to support its war efforts is the real cause. Now the world is sucking up to this winner. The journalists and big names who were against Trump during the campaign are now taking their words back and supporting him.
Time Magazine named Donald Trump Person of the Year for 2016 even though the magazine previously criticized the same person. It is fascinating how the name that was once used on the risqué TV show Sex and the City could win the person of the year award by one of the most prestigious magazines, but then again Time Magazine featured Adolf Hitler as the Man of the Year in 1938. The modern digital world, where humans do not protest anymore, just uses a tap and a click to express!!!
